About this site

This website was set up by the family of Trudy van der Zwaan. Its purpose is one thing: to keep a factual, verifiable account of what has happened to Trudy since 6 July 2026, while her return home is pursued through legal channels.

We hold ourselves to a few principles:

• We publish facts, not accusations. Where we are not certain of something, we say so.
• We name no individuals and draw no legal conclusions. That is for the court.
• Where the situation changes — including when an earlier concern turns out to have been resolved — we update this account honestly.
• Confidential material, such as medical data, witness statements and recordings, is not made public and is intended solely for the lawyer and, if needed, the court.

We do not ask the reader to adopt our view. We ask only that they take note of the facts, and form their own judgement.
